There is always something so alluring about quality pearls.
Went through my collection recently as part of the attempt to reorganize my stuff. In the process, I rediscovered the ones that I have 'buried' for years and forgotten.
Putting them on again brings about an incredible amount of pure delight!
Now that I am going to have a girl, it gives me another reason to be more serious about building a heirloom that she can inherit from me. A collection that she will be proud to own.

Awww...you are also a pearl lover - me too! Imagine with 2 girls for me...the kinds of excuses (and justifications) I have to give myself in order to build up an entire collection of pretty dainty things for their future use ;) In fact, my girls each have favourites and had already "reserved" some of these for themselves in future! Have fun building up your heirloom ;)
Linette, I can SOOOOO understand! If I were you, I would spare NO expense in building up an amazing collection! Throw in gemstones and diamonds too!! Hee hee... :P
I will have to leave my pretty things to my daughters-in-law or grand-daughters!
