M built this last week. Took him between 5 and 7 hours. Can't be sure how long since we didn't really keep track of the time he spends playing Lego. But he said he started making parts of it the day before and finished it the next day.
When I started examining the parts, I was amazed at how he had joined all the really tiny pieces together. It seems such a laborious process. To me anyway. I don't enjoy Lego, not the least bit, so it is pure labour. But to him, it is a labour of love. And he said he made it for me.
'For Mama, because I love you.'
