We are hearing lots of complete sentences from Chipsy now.
"I don't like it!" or "I don't want it!" if he is offered something that he doesn't fancy. It is no longer just a plain 'no' anymore.
"Where is Marcus?" This can sometimes be a rhetorical question as he proceeds to answer himself. "Ohh..Marcus is sleeping in the room. Marcus is very tired." or "Marcus has gone to school. And papa gone to work."
"Where is Ah-ma? I want Ah-ma now."
"This is the yellow digger. Not blue. It is yellow. See!!"
What he said this morning was really funny. "Hello baby baby banana take taxi" as he picked up the telephone pretending to have a conversation with an imaginary friend. When E laughed instantly, he was so embarrassed that he let out a loud "Ahhhh" and hid under the pillow.
These days, he loves starting conversations with strangers though most of the times, people don't understand what he is trying to tell them. It can be real hilarious as I usually get what he is trying to portray to them, so I ended up being the translator. Marcus, the ever so helpful brother, will sometimes offer to translate. But sometimes he ended up adding spins to the original tale. So a stranger we just bumped into near the lift or a bookshop will suddenly find herself stuck with 2 little boys trying to tell her about their latest adventures or something imaginary that they made up of. I just stand at a corner and smile.
