Hieroglyphics and the Anthon Transcript

Up till a few weeks ago, M was still so intrigued with code-making and writing, ancient symbols and hieroglyphics.

He would spend a lot of his free time creating symbols for a new language that he had invented.

To impress him further, E introduced to him the Anthon Transcript

As a result of the inspiration, M came up with these pieces after a few nights of labouring over them.

Umm... I don't know what the symbols mean. But they will make wonderful keepsakes for sure.

One day, I shall show him all these pieces to remind him of the way he had chosen to pass his time when he was just a 6-year-old. :)

Wow. It's wonderful masterpiece. I'm sure Da Vinci would like a 6yo apprentice like M. :) Must tell Aunty K what is the story behind. I'm intrigued.

I just had a thought: The 3rd pic from the top could be photocopied and enlarged to make wrapping paper! Tres chic! ;)

oh cool idea, Corsage! He will be so pleased to see it being used to wrap presents. Haha. I thought of framing one of these or make one of them into a card, but haven't done anything with them.
