Boys bugged me for months about creating new dinosaurs. The paper plate reptiles had "disappeared" from the house, so they wanted to make some replacements.
But I was not keen to do more paper plate dino, so I suggested a 3D model. They were so excited at the prospect of a dino that can stand on its own! :D
So a few weeks ago, we made a sculpture of diplodocus.
1 paper lunch bag, loads of newspapers to stuff into the bag, foil, playdoh, toilet rolls and paint.

Folding and twisting pieces of foil to connect together as the neck and tail.
Here they were enthusiastically painting the body. I love it when they work together on one project. Just like good brothers!
Enjoying their fruits of labour.
