Both boys were given complete freedom to express their ideas.
I always love their enthusiasm and concentration span and it is pure delight to watch them work on these pieces.
On those days when the weather is too unkind to venture out without risking skin cancer, such activities keep them meaningfully busy.
I am thankful that they are such willing parties and would choose art and crafts over TV watching.

These are so cute!!
By the way, I wonder if you are aware that a mum blogger with a child a few months younger than your no. 2 has been writing posts to refute what you wrote. It gets pretty obvious when I started looking at how similar her blog post topics are to yours. Mostly about your recent parenting posts.
Her so-called honest opinions seem like desperate attempts to justify her parenting style and obvious lack of results. But what disgusts me the most is her bitching and naive approach. Don't these people have better things to do?
As one of your loyal readers, I just want to express my appreciation for what you have shared. I can't begin to tell you how inspiring your posts can be to me. Keep writing!

Hi Sally, thanks for your encouraging words.
I am not surprised that there may be people out there who feel the need to write in negative ways, whatever their motives are. Whether it all stems from their insecurities or jealousy or other negative feelings, they are entitled to their opinions, as long as they are not defamatory. There will always be such people around.
Frankly, I don't care what others have to say in their personal spaces. I write what I think and want to say in my blog and I am not seeking popularity votes here. :>
So Sally, I hope you are not upset by it all. Because I am definitely not! Sooner or later, smart readers like yourself will see through her desperate attempts and make their own judgements. Don't worry, I will keep writing!
This blog is meant for my kids and our family anyway. I don't give people like this a second thought.
Wise, DG!
Like the corporate world, there will always be bitching and politics. People are just jealous at the success of From Tiny acorns and how smart your boys are. Ignore them and keep doing what you are best at. Those who have benefitted from your classes and blogging know what's best for them. though some of us choose to be anonymous supporters. *grin*
