While we were looking at some animal pictures in books, he went...
'Oh this looks like a hippopotamus, actually it is a rhinoceros!'
'And this one here looks like a cheetah, but no.. it is actually a leopard!'
Yes, he says this all the time now ever since I wrote about it a few days ago.
While playing with his brother, I overheard the 2yo's little conversation about some fire engines going over the bridge to put out fire.
'No this can't be. I would never do that!'
'Of course not! You cannot put this here. Move it over there!'
'Now let's move the flatbed trailer over here so the fire engine can get through the tunnel.'
While we were learning about spiders and looking at all our books on spiders, the 2yo couldn't stop asking me ..
"Why spiders have 8 legs and insects have only 6 legs?"
"Why are there 3 parts in insects' bodies? But spiders' bodies have only 2 parts? Why? Why not the same?"
"Can elephant sit on the spiderweb? Can spider eat rhinoceros?"
"If baby steps on spider, will spider bite baby?'
Gosh! My little baby is speaking so well now. I won't hide that I am beaming with pride and loving every moment of his inquisitiveness and chattiness.

Ha. My Trinity confuses Hippo with Rhino too.
Chip really speaks very very well. I love the way you plan your homeschooling. We really must meet up so you can teach me how to do it.
Thanks. I would love to meet up and for the kids to play together. Of course we can share ideas about homeschooling. :)
