Kiddos had a blast at E's office a fortnight ago. The company threw an early Xmas party for the employees' children with a very generous budget.
There were magic shows, clowns who juggled, a huge bouncy castle, activities like face painting, tattooing, balloon twisting and a few others which I can't recall. The kids were given a bag of goodies and a McDonald's Happy Meal each, in addition to the spread of finger food. My boys' favourite was the popcorn. Fresh, warm and savoury. And free-flow! There was also the purple candy floss which was a big hit with adults and kids alike, but my boys didn't fancy any of that. Chipsy was fascinated with how it was made though and thought it was wool.
My boys spent all their time jumping and rolling about in the bouncy castle when they were not eating. I had a great time too! I was just too busy (read: greedy) snacking on the incredibly delicious mini-eclairs, dim sum, spring rolls etc.
The eclairs were really worth mentioning. I am usually not a huge fan of eclairs, but what was served that day was so good that I suspect I gobbled at least ten! Ok, they weren't that big, but not exactly the mini version that can be called bite-size. So when E laughed at me in the taxi on the way home after I confessed my gluttony, I was a wee bit embarrassed. But hey, I am a UK Size 8! So I can afford to pig out when I want to. :D

Your lucky, lucky boys! I was hoping for a kids' Christmas party at A's office this year but it was not to be. He had such fun last year when A was with the bank. Looks like banks are better at HR, as is E's company!
We are indeed lucky to have a Xmas party of such scale , especially considering today's economic climate.
I didn't even know A has changed job! Gosh! I must get myself more updated.
Oh no, he hasn't changed jobs, he was just seconded to the bank last year and they had a stellar party.
Actually, my blur husband thought that there was no party BUT there was! I brought L today and shall blog about it soon, yay!
