Christmas Pageant

Yesterday, Marcus took part in his first Christmas Pageant organised by his school and we, as proud parents sat excitedly in the audience with hundreds of others, waving anxiously and holding up our camera and camcorder in anticipation of the big moment when our handsome little boy strolled up the stage. For about 3 weeks prior to the performance, our little boy learnt so many Christmas carols in school and would come home humming a new song every few days. He simply loves to sing and I simply enjoy listening to him.

On the actual day, we were beaming with pride as we watched him jog up the short flight of stairs with his schoolmates and how he couldn't wait to start his little performance when his segment was obviously not due yet. It was lots of fun for us to watch Marcus sing his carols and do all the cute movements. It was after all, our first born's first performance and it was such a milestone for me and a reminder of how much he has grown since the day I held him for the first time in the delivery ward with a tear down my cheek. How much I love him!
