Post-Trip Learning

The kindergarten organized a trip to the Health Promotion Board: Health Zone for the K1 kids last month.

As part of the post-trip learning process, in the week after the trip, the kids were tasked to draw from memory whatever they have learnt from the trip.

N brought this home at the end of Term 1 in mid March. We are impressed that he was able to do an excellent recap of what he saw and learnt. :>

What they mean:

* green/yellow structure is the slide in the Fitness Funhouse
* the Eye in the middle represents the Eyeball model in the Vision Vista
* orange triangle at the bottom of drawing is the food pyramid in the Diet and Nutrition section
* rectangle with orange figure (above the pyramid) is the life-size model at the Lifestyle and Diseases section
* two rows of teeth to represent the model he saw at the Tooth Terrain
* 5 circles with some figures inside are supposed to represent the stages from foetus to baby, as presented in the Puberty Passage section

Despite the brief duration they spent there, he must have absorbed quite a fair bit from the exhibits and tour, to be able to 'teach' me so much about caring for my health, teeth and eyes etc...  Not bad at all for a 4-year-old!!
