Last week's speedy bento. Accompanied by a fruit box of pears and grapes (but I forgot to take photo) and a pack of milk.
Bento contents: Two onigiri (a brown rice with sweet and sour prawn stuffing, and another of Jap rice with furikake), panfried beancurd marinated with teriyaki, steamed siew mai (store bought) and ketchup in container.
It's nothing special. But on a day when I was rushing to get things done, speed was all that matters.

hi, can i chk what nori did u buy? toasted? non-seasoned? is it one big piece kind? sorry, i wanted to buy but there're so many on the shelves i duno which is which. i usually buy those mini pack ones, seasoned, toasted - more like tidbits.
and for the beancurd, u use soft bean curd to fry or the tau kwa?
tks,
Though it was a speedy bento, it still looks very appealing! I must say you've been really great with all your bentos and i love the creativity and nutrition in them.
Hi Lishan, thanks! As usual, you are really sweet. :)
Hi Anonymous, I don't stick to any brand actually as it is for my 4.5yo. But I almost always buy the toasted and smaller pieces than the big ones. I use the big pieces for making sushi. Smaller ones are easier for onigiri purposes. For beancurd in this bento, I used tau kwa so I don't have to really fry for long. More like heat through.
