Keyboard for Marcus

Initially E wanted to buy a piano but we decided to heed the piano teacher's advice and bought a Yamaha keyboard instead, so now the boy can practise.

He went for his 3rd lesson last weekend and since we haven't bought the keyboard then, he didn't get to practise at all prior to lesson. The only revision I did with him was done verbally a few minutes before we left home for the lesson.

The teacher was visibly impressed and commented on how fluently he could play despite having no practice at all. She talked about how kids this age usually have difficulty in playing fluently and most require lots of practice at home. She noted his good memory and rhythm and complimented him on how fast he picked up in class. He was very pleased. So was I.

We began a few minutes of practice at home today, but was repeatedly interrupted by the little one who wanted to join in. Naturally. Now I have to tweak our routine a little to factor in some time on the keyboard.
